Level 2 – Food Safety Training

This is a two day class.  Class dates: September 11-12, 2018; 8am-5pm

As of March 1, 2017, each risk level III and risk level IV food service operation and retail food establishment are required to have one employee, who has supervisory and management responsibility, with the level two certification.

Developed by The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, this course gives participants national, state and local recognition as certified in food safety. Course materials as well as exam can be ordered in Spanish, Chinese, and Korean. A passing score of 75% must be achieved in order to receive certification.

Retests and exams for those who have completed the ServSafe online manager training course are welcome. Applicants must pre-register and arrive by 3:00 p.m. on testing day. Applicants must bring proof of completion of the online course or have previously taken the course with our department. Please contact us if you would like to receive an Instructor Exam (required to become an Instructor/Proctor) or if you would like to pick up your materials prior to the first day of class (highly recommended). Cost is $150 per person. Retest or Exam only is $75.
