Online Lesson – 9/21/20

As mentioned last week, September 10th was World Suicide Prevention Day. A community Outreach Specialist contacted me about more resources for anyone suffering from substance abuse. Please see the link below for more information and help in this area. We are so thankful to have kind people supporting us!

This month is also Healthy Ageing Month. See the attached newsletter for tips and tricks to prevent falls in the elderly. I know some of you care for your ageing loved ones, so this should be helpful! I have included a full body strength video below led by myself to help build your own strength. The video should accommodate all fitness levels and ages. Doing strength training like this two-three days a week will help build strength and prevent falls and injury. We should be aiming for a minimum of 150 minutes exercise each week, or about 30 minutes each day. Not only will this help with weight loss, but with preventing chronic diseases such as heart disease or cancer. See the video below, and let me know if you have any questions!
